TFAS Web Server
These are the web pages used to manage TFAS server. It allows user to create and manage transcribers ,providers(doctors),Hospitals,Clinics, MTSOs etc etc. In addition to it alos allows user to manage transcription process.
TFAS File Transfer Server
TFAS File Transfer server is the hear of the system manages most of the business logic along with TFAS Web Server.TFAS File Transfer server is developed using microsoft WCF technology.
It accepts audio files from different sources such as FTP/File Pick up utility etc. It is also responsible for accept requests from Transcription editor to send and collect the files
File Add Utility
This application is used to add audio files to TFAS server which is collected manually from some souces (sky drive) which is not directly integrated with TFAS.
Desktop File Pickup Utility
This is a system tray application which runs on the providers desktop and picks up the audio files when the provider insert the recording devices in to the PC. This application is configured to map a folder to pick up the files. When there is an audio file appears in the configured folder this application picks up those files automatically.
Smart Sign Client
SmartSign client is used by doctors to retrive the completed transcripts. They can review the transcripts in this ustility and electronically sign it. It also support email and print the signed documents
TEditor
TEditor is the default transcription tool supported by TFAS. Using this transcribers can collect the work allocated to them and transcribe it. It eliminates the use of MSWord from transcription end. But if the user prefers MSword it is possible to use it as well. For those files transcribed using Teditor will be formated by TFAS server after completion of transcription process and delivered as rtf of MSWord file itself.
